Hemp and Cannabis plant varieties are of the same genus—Cannabis—and the same species, Cannabis Sativa.  

Cannabis, is most commonly bred for its high amounts of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the cannabinoid most known for its psychoactive properties. 

Hemp, the legal classification for a cannabis plant containing less than 0.3% THC by weight, and is the same cannabis plant, but has been selected and bread for less THC. The hemp plants grown by our farmers are harvested for use in our CBD Releaf products, and can be legally purchased and shipped across state lines.
